How long will it take to receive my proof?
You will receive a proof within 24-48 hours (excluding holidays and weekends) to the email address you provide at checkout.
I would like to make some customization changes to a design. Can you do this and how should I let you know?
Changes are no problem! Just purchase the design closest to the one you like and in the customization request box leave us all your details and ideas. When your order comes through, either I or one of our in-house designers will work with you to get it just how you have in mind. All wording, colors and fonts can be changed on a design. If you're looking for something completely custom, send us a message and we'll see if we can accommodate it.
How do I submit a photo(s) for a design?
If your design only requires one photo, you can upload it at the time you place your order. If you have more than one photo in your design, email them to us at sarah (at) brownpaperstudios.com
Photos should be 300dpi or higher for proper print quality. Camera phone pictures that have a filter or have been edited with an app are often not high enough resolution.
How much does shipping cost?
All orders ship for a flat rate of $5.00. If you purchase one of my digital files, these listings are not paper products but .jpg or pdf files designed for you to print at your local printer or photo processor, and will not be mailed.
Will I be charged sales tax?
Sales tax of 8.25% will be applied to all orders purchased within the state of Texas.
Do you accept international orders?
Currently, we only ship within the United States
I chose the Digital file option. How do I print my invitations or birth announcements?
Simply download the final high resolution file I send you and upload to your favorite printer or photo processor.
I can send you either a jpeg or pdf as your final file.
If you choose a PDF file: it can be printed on your home printer or at a local print shop or office supply shop like Staples, Kinkos, and mpix.com. Most professional print shops have the ability to print your cards/invitations double-sided and will trim them to the appropriate size for you. We recommend having them print a test document for you to review before you commit to printing a large quantity.
If you choose a JPEG file: it can be printed at a photo lab or through a photo site such as Shutterfly or mpix.com. JPEG files cannot be printed double-sided.
The colors on my printed product look different than on my computer screen. Why is this?
All computer monitors display colors differently. Mobile devices can greatly distort colors on pdf files. It's always wise to approve your proof from a computer.
